   It will.do the trick for birthdays and small events. Its a little wobbly when at its highest setting. It does not telescope and freely expand/contract...More

   It will.do the trick for birthdays and small events. Its a little wobbly when at its highest setting. It does not telescope and freely expand/contract. It only pops up when you loosen and tighten the screws. The middle pole cannot be left out for a narrower stand, it must have all three pieces, making it the total width, and unable to adjust it. With that said, it's great for the price!
